M. Ginger Scarbrough, PhD

Ginger Scarbrough has been a faculty member at Purdue University, Ball State University, and New Mexico State University, teaching courses across multiple disciplines, including Computer Science, Geology, Materials Engineering, and Food Science. The contest invites engineering/technical college students from across the country to compete in solving today’s key environmental challenges. In her role, Ginger partners with industry and government agencies to identify ground-breaking projects for students to solve. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Geophysics from UT El Paso and her Doctorate in Structural Geology from Purdue University. She has taught courses in Computer Science, Geology, Materials Engineering, and Food Science at Purdue University, Ball State University, and New Mexico State University.
